Kluber kluber hts grease

Both the F355 and 348 use a rather special grease made by Kluber: A Unisilkon GLK 1301. This has proved rather difficult to get hold of in small quantities under ?4,000 worth! (The price of this grease has always been expensive but has also seen a sharp hike in the last year which may not have been helped by Ferrari currently buying it by the ton for some reason!) But a quick warning, don't try using another, I thought I had an equivalent, tried it and found it didn't work quite quickly! So we always use the original Kluber in our refurbished flywheels. I have now managed to get Kluber to supply me in 25 kilo tubs and have now split these down into smaller resale packs in the amounts you will need to repack the flywheel damper system. The workshop manual does state 150gm is needed for the F355 and 200gm for the 348. Although experience has suggested that a little more is better for the 355 and this was backed up by a Ferrari America spokesperson.

We therefore sell 180gm packs for the 355 and 200gm for the 348, this produces a well balanced flywheel. Searching the forums will provide you with similar comments.
