Products Synthetic high-performance gear oils Product description Klübersynth G 4 synthetic high-performance oils are formulated using polyalphaolefins, ester and selected additives to enhance oxidation resistance and provide maximum protection against wear, corrosion and foaming. Klübersynth G 4 oils show a good viscosity-temperature behaviour, thus providing greater film thickness at high temperatures, and lower viscosities at low temperatures for smooth start-up. The low friction coefficient substantially reduces power consumption and gearbox operating temperatures, further prolonging the service life of the gear and the gear oil. Benefits for your application Much longer service life than mineral oils due to the excellent ageing and oxidation resistance of the base oil; thus maintenance intervals can be extended and in certain cases even lifetime lubrication is possible The excellent viscosity-temperature behaviour supports the formation of a sufficient lubricating film even at high temperatures The good antiwear effect of Klübersynth G 4 protects gears and other lubricated components sufficiently against wear and scuffing The low friction coefficient of the synthetic base oils reduces power losses and improves efficiency Filterable with mesh sizes 6 to 10 µm.
